05/03/25 SIDBI and The Federal Bank Limited (FBL) signed an MoU to strengthen MSME financing and foster the growth of the MSME ecosystem in Mumbai. The collaboration focuses on providing financial assistance for project finance, machinery/equipment finance, working capital solutions (including letter of credit and bank guarantee), and loan against property. Additionally, joint financing opportunities will be explored to enhance credit access for MSMEs. The MoU was signed by Shri Prakash Kumar, DMD, SIDBI, and Shri Harsh Dugar, Executive Director, FBL, in the presence of other senior officials from both institutions. 2025-03-05
24/02/25 Shri Satya Prakash Singh, CGM, SIDBI inaugurated a new branch of SIDBI in Bulandshahr. This aligns with the Hon'ble Finance Minister's announcement during the FY 2024-25 budget speech, which outlined SIDBI's plan to expand its reach by opening new branches to serve major MSME clusters. 24/02/25 SIDBI participated in the “National Workshop on Mobilising Finance for Renewable Energy” organised by Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), Government of India at Mumbai. Shri Prakash Kumar, DMD, SIDBI participated in the program and highlighted SIDBI’s vision on “Har Udyami ki Chhatt par Solar (each MSME to have solar roof top)”. He emphasized the need for Bankers to have a dedicated vertical for Renewable Energy/Emerging Green Technologies and capacity building of all the MSMEs stakeholders to serve the last mile connectivity. 17/02/25 SIDBI has commenced extending the benefits under the Mutual Credit Guarantee Scheme for MSMEs (MCGS-MSME) to its customers.
