05/02/25 SIDBI launched “MSME Outlook Survey”- a quarterly report on MSME Business Sentiment. On the basis of a survey of MSMEs spread across Manufacturing, Services and Trading sectors, the report attempts to bridge the data gap in the MSME sector by developing a lead + lag indicator, in the form of MSME-Business Expectations Index (M-BEI) and MSME-Business Conditions Index (M-BCI), that provide a steady flow of insights into the current performance of MSMEs in India and their perception.	2025-02-05
4/02/025 Shri Prakash Kumar, DMD, SIDBI inaugurated SIDBI’s new branch in Hajo, Assam. The event was attended by officials from RBI, the State Government, NEDFi, NSIC, NGOs, and local artisans form the Brass and Bell Metal cluster of Hajo. Shri Prakash Kumar said that the establishment of the Hajo branch marks a significant milestone in SIDBI’s efforts to foster entrepreneurship, empower MSMEs, and contribute to the economic growth of the region. The new branch will act as a catalyst in supporting local entrepreneurs by providing innovative financial solutions and facilitating the development of MSMEs in and around Hajo cluster. The event served as a platform for showcasing advancements in the mobility sector and promoting collaboration among stakeholders. Shri Mittal interacted with MSME borrowers and entrepreneurs to understand challenges related to financing, scaling, and technology access. 21/01/25 Shri Manoj Mittal, CMD, SIDBI, inaugurated the Meerut branch, signifying an expansion of the institution's presence in Uttar Pradesh and reaffirming its dedication to the growth of the MSME sector. The event was attended by several dignitaries, including several SIDBI officials; Secretary General of FISME; Shri Tanuj Gupta, Chairman of IIA Meerut; and Shri Raj Kumar Sharma, Zonal President of LUB, Meerut. Several entrepreneurs from diverse sectors in Meerut, such as scissors, sports, textiles, publication, and general engineering, along with prominent city doctors, were also present. 17/01/25 SIDBI participated in Curtain raiser for Startup Mahakumbh at Bharat Mandapam, event organised by DPIIT. FFS been catalytic in creating the startup ecosystem.
